Leadership in Teams
Welcome to Leadership in Teams. This is a collection of work meant to illustrate all that I have learned on my journey to build happy, empowered, and high-performing teams. I have spent 15 years in the tech industry working with teams, therefore, in pursuit of my Masters in Organizational Leadership from Gonzaga University, I have focused my studies on work with teams.
Centered in the belief that every team member has value, and that most issues that arise in teams are system failures rather than people failures, my leadership philosophy is focused on helping team members realize the value in each other and appreciate diverse teams. This thread weaves itself into the project I’ve built meant to bring a group of over 100 unique individuals together to create a team.
My future work will be helping groups of people feel successful, authentic, and empowered, both individually and together, so that they are able to enjoy the experience along the way. I’m so grateful for the opportunities I have had and I intend to use that experience to give back to those who come after me.
